Where there is focus, there is life.

How many times have we found ourselves thinking about what we are missing and experiencing a feeling of emptiness? I believe that most of us have had situations in our lives where we have wondered why life is so unfair sometimes. Why do I have to go through this pain? When will this suffering end?
When we don't have enough money, we want more of it and experience a feeling of lack and insecurity. When we don't have a partner, we want to find one and experience a feeling of loneliness. Where our focus is, there our life is. There is a great truth in that sentence.
When we lack something, I am sure that we could replace the feeling of not having and insecurity with a feeling of having and security, if only we would focus on what we already possess at that moment. We possess ourselves, life, the air we breathe, and the opportunity to focus on it. Isn't that a little easier and more beautiful?

Life is a process that needs to be trusted.
When we go through painful periods in our lives, changing our focus to something beautiful is not an easy task, I admit. What we should definitely realize is that this pain will shape us, but it will also end, because nothing lasts forever. No pain comes without its purpose. It gives us an opportunity to grow. I am sure that when we look back at the pain we have already gone through, we can see something that we could not see at the moment of pain. We can realize how that pain strengthened us and helped us grow.
You have to be patient in the process, because that's what life is - a process. The process begins and ends. It begins again, continues, changes and ends again. Just as the seasons change, as day and night, sun and clouds alternate. Everything is transient, and our task is to enjoy the process, because then we know that we are alive . This does not mean that it has to become easy in order for us to be able to laugh, rejoice at the sunrise or embrace a loved one. Every moment is a new opportunity to find something beautiful and positive in it.
Constant worry and complaining are of no use; in fact, they are completely counterproductive. Those who constantly complain achieve the least. If you fall – get up. Once you were a child and you fell, but without thinking you got up and tried. Over and over again. If you fall, use that fall as the perfect support to push yourself towards the heights. Don’t let the fall darken your view of the light. Trust the process and get up.
Be gentle with yourself.
Wounds heal, and scars later remind us that we got up and didn't give up. Don't hold grudges against mistakes. What exactly is a mistake? Something that didn't turn out the way we imagined? Maybe it shouldn't have or couldn't have turned out that way. So why not look at a "mistake" as a lesson that makes us stronger and more prepared for greater things today - a lesson that guides us and pushes us to unlock our dormant potential?
Love and appreciate your life, even when you have reason to cry and regret. Love and appreciate yourself. Don't focus on needing someone or something to make you happy. Everything you need is already there at this moment. Whatever happens on your path, learn from it and absorb the experiences. Don't create rigid ideas about how life should be. Be gentle with yourself, look back and be proud of the small peaks you have conquered. One day you will realize how high you really have reached.
And on that upward journey, share positive energy with people, be a light to others, and spread love. That is, in fact, the greatest task for all of us – to love ourselves and remember that we are love.
